As I pack for my upcoming trip to Thailand I am reflecting on this idea that the world we live in is a small place. We say it all the time, but with 7 billion people on the planet, how small can it really be? A couple of years ago I was in Bangkok, and as I sat back in my massage chair in anticipation of a much needed foot rub, I heard a voice call out my name. I looked up and saw Andrew, a good friend of my daughters' that I had known for years.There he was, standing three feet away from me, on the other side of the planet from where I had seen him last. It's a big, beautiful, small world.
